Period Shaker Kitchen
A quintessential kitchen design based around the traditional shaker style. Fitted in a beautiful period house at the foot of the Sidlaw hills. This traditionally constructed kitchen, hand painted in Farrow and Ball, looks like its always been there.
Solid oak worktops were cut and shaped into the bay window and recess beside the AGA. A double Belfast sink carries through the traditional feel with draining flutes routed into the wood. We also incorporated a stack of five “pippy” oak dovetailed drawers to add a touch of individuality and compliment the turned oak handles. We even managed to squeeze in a cosy spot for the dog beside the AGA.
